Kipling claims to have a luggage line, however, the array of duffels and wheeled back packs leaves Luggage Reviews with much to be desired. As a purse and handbag manufacturer, Kipling stands out with some impressive stylish wares. Luggage Reviews points out that this in no way demonstrates a luggage line. Kipling carries an uneventful looking mediocre quality and grossly overpriced variety of carry on luggage bags for traveling. Unlike the tried and true faithful brands, Luggage Reviews found Kipling to be a ridiculous waste of money unless the consumer is label conscious. Sporting luggage bags with the high fashion, Kipling label, does carry some weight in the fashion design circles, and even some envy with the trend-setters. But wait…we were talking about traveling, right? Luggage Reviews gives Kipling a very poor rating for entering a market where Kipling back packs and handbags simply cannot compete.

Kipling has several carry-on, wheeled-bags, but no sets, nothing designed for baggage handling or lengthy travel. Kipling prices are strictly based on the design nature of the Kipling Company, with quality of craftsmanship, durability, or sturdy travel-relative construction being completely left out of the mix. As far as value versus price…again, Kipling is not really making luggage, so Luggage Reviews has to conclude with the fact that Kipling bags, luggage, and travel wares have no value in the luggage industry when comparing prices to life cycle of the products. Kipling bags are beautiful to look at, but in the long-run, would never stand up to baggage conveyors or trips around the baggage claim carousel.
